Eddie,
Congrats on Reeves Strategy Group! I like the idea of this series. My two cents: In addition to having something to say, knowing when to say it is also important. I was recently reminded at a journalism retreat that timing can also make or break certain announcements. But maybe you were going to cover that in a different segment?

Best,
Susan

My best strategy for media relations is publish, publish, publish - useful information until the reporters come to you. I've had the publisher of the Miami Herald with his senior staff show up at my office wondering what is going on (news and advertising that wasn't in his paper) and another publisher for an exclusive 112 year-old publication that now wants to take me to lunch to find out how I publish so much news they don't have when they have a staff of 38 and I have 1 - me. To find out more about how I do it, see: www.Smart-Marketing-PR.blogspot.com
